Scandic Plaza Århus
The Scandic Plaza Aarhus is situated in the heart of Aarhus - the world's smallest metropole. The hotel is encircled by the Music Hall, the City Hall and the beautiful City Hall Park and with only a few minutes walk to the airport shuttle, the Central Station and Aarhus Harbour.

The rooms was renovated in 2008 and the central location of the hotel makes it the obvious choice for accommodation for visitors to Aarhus, whether you are here for a conference, on business or on holiday.

The hotel has banqueting rooms and meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 150 persons, a café, bar and restaurant. In the "Restaurant NAPA" you'll experience the concept of Latin American barbeque which, besides a large number of starters, consists of 5-7 different kind of meat prepared on a big open charcoal barbeque.

The hotel has a closed garage so parking won't be a problem despite the central location. On the lower floor, the hotel has a new fitness room with exercise equipment, solarium, sauna and Jacuzzi. Please contact us for further information. We look very much forward to welcome you as a guest at the Scandic Plaza Aarhus.

The Swan (Nordic Eco-label)
Hotels, inns, training centres, cenference centres
offering accommodation and hostels can all be swan labelled and offer:

Reduced consumption of energy and water, reduced utilisation of environmentally harmful chemicals for washing and cleaning, wasting sorting, documented environmental management system, environmental consideration in transportation planning.

If the swan labelled venue has a restaurant, conference facilities or a swimming pool, these facilities are also included in the labelling and its requirements. The greatest change in the revised criteria (version 3.0) is that we have increased energy efficiency requirements to reduce the climate impact of the hotel, and this limit to energy consumption is mandatory. The new requirements of the hotels also include: Stricter requirements that the hotel must use a larger share of eco-labelled paper products, cleaning fluids and detergents.
